This article describes how JumpQ users can synchronize their inventory data from Square. Once data is synched and housed within JumpQ, admins can allow items to be shown in the order-ahead and self-scan (Mobile POS) sections of the consumer app. Data sync can also either overwrite what’s currently stored in JumpQ or update depending on your use case.
In order to synchronize data from Square you must have the following:
- A JumpQ Merchant Portal account with ‘Admin’ permissions
- A Square account with inventory populated
Grant JumpQ access to your inventory data in Square:
aGo to the Apps page of the Square Connect Portal (https://connect.squareup.com/apps/)bClick on ‘New App’cEnter ‘JumpQ’ for the App NamedClick ‘Save’eCopy your personal access token from the next page. This will be needed to update your profile in JumpQNote: On the Application Settings page you will see sections for OAuth and Commerce API - these sections do not need to be filled in as JumpQ does not use these features when doing the data sync.
Tell JumpQ to Sync Data:
