What does JumpQ do?

JumpQ is a mobile app that allows customer to skip the checkout line by self-scanning items through their phone as they shop and then processing their payment through a pre-configured payment option. The app also allows for order-ahead capabilities to certain merchants that have it enabled.

Wait, how does that work?

Where do I get the app?

The JumpQ app is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.

How much does it cost to use the app?

The JumpQ app is free for consumers. There are no charges when you use it for shopping or order-ahead and there are no ads in the app.

What if my phone doesn't have a camera?

You can still use the app for ordering ahead from your favourite merchants. Unfortunately, at this time you will be unable to use the app for in-store self-scanning since the barcode scanning depends on a cameraphone.

Which merchants use JumpQ?

A list of participating merchants can be found here. If you want to use the app at a merchant that’s not on the list, submit their details here - we will do our best to convince them to join JumpQ to satisfy customer demand!

What types of payments can I use in JumpQ?

Our app currently accepts auto-payments from any major credit card - Visa, MasterCard, American Express.

Can I join a mailing list to get notified when new merchants are added to JumpQ in my area?
